Marie Ward is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Originally from London, Marie worked for over ten years in food marketing and product development before relocating to Sydney to retrain as a Dietitian. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013, after completing her clinical training at Westmead and Canterbury Hospitals and a Masters Research Project in digestive health. Before joining the NND team Marie was working as a dietitian at the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council.
Marie has a particular interest in digestive problems including irritable bowel syndrome and Coeliac disease. She has completed formal training in the diagnosis and management of food chemical intolerances using the RPAH elimination diet. Marie also provides advice for weight management heart health and general nutrition. She is committed to working with clients to find a realistic and enjoyable approach that works for them.
Aside from her love of food, Marie’s other great passion is scuba diving (hence the move from the UK to the warmer waters of Sydney). When she’s not underwater, you’ll find her testing out delicious recipes and ingredients to share.
